The Troop Committee is a group of adults, generally parents of Scouts, who support the troop by insuring that the troop's adult leadership is adequate, by providing various support functions, by supporting a quality troop program, and by handling troop administration. The Troop Committee also helps to raise the funds needed for equipment and operating expenses. The adult leaders will act primarily as advisors giving maximum opportunity for the Scouts to show responsibility.

Troop Committee meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at the Elks Lodge beginning at 6:30 PM.  Parents are encouraged to attend these meetings but only committee members may vote.

The Troop Committee includes a Chartering Organization Representative, Committee Chair, Scoutmaster (who does not vote), Assistant Scoutmaster(s), Advancement Chair, Fundraising Chair, Outdoor Chair, Quartermaster, Secretary, Treasurer, ScoutParents Unit Coordinator, and Members at Large.  All committee members are allowed to vote except the Scoutmaster.

All adult leader positions are filled by a vote of the committee. All parents may become committee members by submitting an application. Other adults may be committee members if approved by a committee vote.
